At Throw Zone Training Center, we provide a holistic approach to athlete development that goes far beyond teaching throwing technique. Our services include elite shot put and discus coaching, strength and conditioning, explosive power and plyometric training, and access to high-quality equipment designed specifically for throwers and serious strength athletes. We also emphasize mentorship by helping athletes develop confidence, discipline, and the habits needed to succeed. For athletes with collegiate aspirations, we offer guidance throughout the recruiting process, helping them showcase their abilities and take the next step in their athletic careers.

During the 2025-2026 school year we had 40 athletes that trained consistently throughout the year. On average athletes improved 5’ in the shot put and 15’ in discus.
However we have had some exceptions with one of our boys improving 42’ to 59’ in the shot put, as well as one of our girls improving 45’ to 110’ in the discus. Both were done in a single off season training period. -

Our training provides a wholistic solution to training. Becoming an elite thrower not only requires improvement in technique but also their mental prep and athleticism.
We do not look for “band aid” quick fix solutions, but long term development for maximum improvement. -

Being a private training facility means access is limited to members, athletes enrolled in coaching, and scheduled guests. This allows us to create a focused, distraction-free environment where athletes can train alongside others who share the same commitment to growth and excellence. By controlling access, we're able to maintain a positive culture, prioritize safety, provide more personalized coaching, and ensure every athlete has the space and support they need to improve. Our goal is to build a community where hard work, accountability, and continuous development come first.
We do offer open gym access for training, please reach out if interested. -
We would prefer training to take place in person, however we understand that not everyone can consistently make it to our facility to train. If you are interested in online training please contact us.
